Wide Range of Profiles
EL-ZIP® brand zippers are available in over 250 different styles from 3 – 50 mm wide with sealing capability to PE, CPP, and OPP sealing layers and suitable for use in the most commonly used packaging machines and processes in the industry today.
Apart from regular 10 and 13 mm zippers, some models have special features like:
- Easy Tear ( for pouches without laser scribing)
- Powder Resistance- very fine powders
- Retort application- for foil based and non-foil
- Differential locking force- easy open, ideal for pick and seal machines for filling into preformed pouches
- Child resistant (with certification)
- Low SIT Sealant layer - allows less dwell time and therefore faster speeds and smooth zipper finish.
- Easy crush- low heat input and lower sealing jaws pressure, allows smooth finish
- Audible and Tactile - similar to Aplix and Velcro, but different design and better aroma and moisture barrier.
- Tamper Evident with a peel layer- once zipper is opened, it can be reclosed, but the membrane cannot be sealed back
- Zipper for transverse application for pre-zippered laminate.
